This policy explains what information See The Flow (seetheflow.com), run by Biswajit Mohanty, collects when you visit this website or contact me, and how it is used. In short: I collect very little, I use it only to reply to you, do the work you ask for and understand how the site is used, and I never sell it.
What I collect
- Contact form and emails. When you send a message, I receive your name, email address, website (if you add it), the service and budget you choose, and your message. A copy is stored in this website’s admin area and sent to my business inbox.
- Blog comments. If you leave a comment, your name, email address and comment are stored. Your email is never shown publicly.
- Visit statistics. This site uses Google Analytics (through Google Site Kit) to count visits and see which pages are read. It collects information such as pages viewed, approximate location and device type, using cookies.
- Technical data. The hosting server and Cloudflare (which protects and speeds up this site) process your IP address and basic browser details to deliver pages and block attacks.
What I don’t collect
The free Flow Checker runs entirely in your browser. The text you paste is never sent to me or saved anywhere.
How your information is used
- To reply to your enquiry, send quotes and deliver the work you order.
- To keep records of our work together, such as briefs and invoices.
- To understand which content is useful, so I can improve the site.
- To protect the website from spam and abuse.
I don’t sell or rent your information. It is shared only with the services needed to run this website and my business: my web host, Cloudflare, Google Analytics and my email provider.
How long it is kept
Messages from people who don’t become clients are deleted within 24 months. Client records are kept for as long as needed for the work and for tax and accounting rules. Google Analytics data is kept according to its own retention settings.
Your choices
- You can ask to see, correct or delete the information I hold about you. Email [email protected] and I’ll reply within 30 days.
- You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or use Google’s Analytics opt-out add-on.
Cookies
This site uses Google Analytics cookies for visit statistics. WordPress sets small cookies if you log in or leave a comment, and Cloudflare may set a security cookie to tell real visitors from bots. None of these are used for advertising.
Children
This website is meant for businesses and is not aimed at children under 16. I don’t knowingly collect their information.
Changes and contact
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with a new date. Questions? Email [email protected].
